Arya, Tyrion & Brienne parts were good, Jon Snow parts were alright and anyting involving Dany is COMPLETE GARBAGE, I'd rather they just have froggirl & cripple boy scenes than her. I would take 10 minute long scenes of the wildling lady and Rickon doing nothing than have to sit through more scenes showing how retarded Dany is at ruling

I hope this episode ran long just to knock this stupid shit out early in the season. The whole Mereen plot is the most predictable, played out shit we've seen on the show, which hung its hat on unpredictability.

I don't know...I thought her reasons for rejecting Brienne were pretty sound. Hey lady who I don't know and have only seen hanging out with Jaime Lannister at Joffery's wedding, cool that your swearing an allegiance to me and all...but littlefinger did save my life and he's offering me a chance for revenge, so I think I'll stick with him.

Yes her reasons seem sound, but it was mostly Littlefinger planting those doubts in her head, so to me it comes off as him playing on her fears and manipulating her. Also I'm concerned about this marriage proposal he mentions. We'll see how it plays out.

Also Jon Snow finally does something pretty boss by going against Stannis in regards to Mance.

And finally Drogon comes back only to disappoint. Let them dragons loose already ffs. Just do something! Oh and everyone cheering because it sounded like Tyrion wasn't going to be on a boat for the whole season? Looks like he's just gonna be in a box on wheels instead lol.

I'm starting to worry that this season is just going to be about people travelling. Jaime and Bronn road-tripping to Dorne (which does have potential tbh). Tyrion and Varys in their box. Brienne and Pod following Sansa and Littlefinger. While everyone else just sit around and do nothin.

Um, I'd say it's feasible since compared to ordinary swords, Valyrian steel blades are supposed to be stronger, sharper and somewhat enchanted.

Actually I don't even know why I'm bothering to argue the "realism" of a show that contains Dragons, zombies and shadow babies. And with Grommok no less.

And it's pretty easy to argue realism in ASoIaF because other than the odd magic here and there it pretty much follows all the rules of our world.
