Guardians of the Galaxy
It was really good. All the characters did a great job, even Gamora did a good job despite having to portray an incredibly shitty character. A few inconsistencies with the comics but it was for the better (like Nova Corps didn't have gravity powers or whatever, Ronan was a bit more evil than he was in the comics but that's no biggy.) Batista did a surprisingly good job, also.

Really good. All of the characters were excellent. Insane visually, too. One review I read called it like a Star Wars movie that takes place entirely inside the Mos Eisley cantina

It was okay. The main characters were well cast and had excellent chemistry. The prison escape stands out to me as excellent.
Villain was terrible. I had forgotten his name by the time the credits started rolling.

Re: Guardians of the Galaxy
Thanos was okay; can't judge yet since he was basically ESB Palpatine. Ronan was pretty genero; neat enough design but honestly what was he even about? Nebula made a confusing exit from the film (I think?)
Groot was a scene-stealing sonofabitch. You go, Groot.
Also the guy with the whistle-arrow thingy seemed OP.
Also Star Lord's dad is a space-angel mayb?
Also are the Nova guys Green Lanterns? I have no idea
Answer me, Pewps

Re: Guardians of the Galaxy
His dad in the comics is the king of Spartax but I don't know what they're gonna do with the movies
Nova Corps in the comics are basically Green Lantern ripoffs, except cooler than the Green Lanterns because their uniforms are better looking and Hal Jordan isn't there. Generally in the comics they use something called "Nova Force", which is basically gravity powers. The higher rank you are in the Corps the more Nova Force you can use. They didn't have it in the movies but it's possible they could in future movies.
The arrow guy, Yondu, was actually part of the original Guardians of the Galaxy that was made in the 60s. (Although it was really just a nod to the original team because the original team took place in the 31st century, so Yondu shouldn't technically be alive)

Re: Guardians of the Galaxy
So the main Nova guy from the comics is called Richard Rider.

He was made in the 60s, it was a different time. He gets a pass in my book, he stuck his fist down Annihilus' throat and pulled out his intestines.
