lots of Tarkin and even a lil Leia surprised me. As good as the cgi is you can never quite forget that they're fake.

The Droid and the two old Asian Bros were prob my fav characters.

Vader going crazy down that corridor at the end was awesome.

It was pretty good. The total cringe moments from the trailer weren't in it. I liked the action, the blasters seemed very powerful and awesome which gave it more impact. I liked how it showed rebels being terrorists. And I especially liked the visuals and sets. The characters were fun enough but didn't really have as much depth as they should have and it starts a bit slow.
Probably the 4th best Star Wars movie.

I'd say it has some of my favourite Star Wars moments, even if it wasn't the best overall (I'm looking at you, first 40ish minutes).

The cinematography and fight choreography were the winners here. Cpt Cassian I thought they did really well. I felt like they developed that character and his moral compass really well without having to give him an exotic backstory. I liked Blue Leader's mustache.


I liked CGTarkin but they got Leia's mannerism wrong - I dont remember her smiling except to smirk before ewoks and she should have been all dower business here too. I also thought they let Forest Whitakers character down when he stopped being stubborn paranoid old survivalist and decided to die. Thats not an action of the guy you just introduced.

Black Mon Calamari did alright. Edwards supported Lucas' tiny alien fetish pretty well too. Cthulu alien was way better than force awakens tentacle monsters. No Ithorians tho - thats like 2 movies without Ithorians.

Saw with my nephew this morning. The movie was a bit uneven and they tried to fit A LOT into it, but I still loved it. When they were all "blue leader" "red leader" etc I got all giddy.

K2 MVP. "I find that answer vague and unconvincing." Forest Whittaker's character LVP. They didn't do a good job with him I thought despite Whittaker giving it his best. Once they get past that part thought the movie starts coming together.

The ending was apparently darker before. It was already full ME2 suicide mission.

OT cameos probably the weakest part though. CG won't age well. Think the movie would have been better if it just ends on the shot right before Leia turns around. Vader wrecking shit was great though.

Pretty awful. I got to see her one woman show when she was doing the Wishful Drinking thing. Completely hilarious and self deprecating. One of the most memorable shows I've been to.

I've been meaning to watch Postcards from the Edge and this seems like the time to do it.

Sort of makes Rogue One seem a bit different now.

Every time I see one of these movies I always hold out hope that one of the side characters will be the one to make it out.
