It's better than season 5. It's silly but we know what the show is at this point.

Lots of John fellatio.

edit: I mean Lady Mormont is the best character in the show's history so there's that.

It had some eh episodes in the middle, as is the game of thrones specialty, but the final few episodes were very strong and really well done.

I like that the show is going to finish completely seven years before Martin releases The Winds of Winter.

This is definitely the best trailer they've ever done.

As much as I love GoT, I'm going to be so relieved when it finally ends.

I hope this season isn't just Jon being right and Sansa being wrong and then she dies.

I think Jon was wrong, or at least half wrong (maybe let the guys who Robb executed keep their land, as they had an actual grievance, but the other guys had no excuse) but that will probably be the season.

I'm not a sailor so I'm not sure how it all works, but how did Euron's fleet manage to find Yara's and yet they had no idea they were about to be attacked?? Like does Euron's eyeliner let him see through the fog or something??

The past two episodes were among the worst in the series, I think.

The plan to capture a zombie is one of the dumbest and most contrived plot lines I can remember. Everything about it is fundamentally stupid. And because of the plot armor everyone had, there was no real tension. Drunk Priest and some redshirt died. I don't think anybody believed Jon was really in trouble. The "there's no time" is one of the dumbest scenes I remember. And as far as time travel stuff goes, I don't like it but I can deal with it. But the whole rescue part took it to the next level. It doesn't hold up to the slightest bit of scrutiny.

The Arya / Sansa stuff I don't think can be redeemed even if the finale reveals they are playing Littlefinger. It will still be silly and poorlywritten. It basically requires Arya and Sansa to have learned nothing since the start of the show, which is not internally consistent with their storyline. Arya and Bran both thaving rather quick personality changes is awkward and not handled well within the show.

Cersei doesn't have anybody fun to bounce off of and comes across as one note. She's barely interacting with anybody other than Jamie, Qyburn and Iron Bank guy. Tyrion is stuck in the Dinero vortex. Davos in the Jon vortex. Dinero and Jon still drag the show to a screeching halt and have very little chemistry.

I thought the season was fine through the attack on the caravan but the past two episodes are just that bad.

Instead of being an ensemble cast it's become the Dany and Snow show with supporting characters. Cersei, Bran, and Arya/Sansa are minor subplots. Emilia Clarke and Kit Harrington are probably the 2 worst actors on the show now that the Dorne storyline is wrapped up and while the show has made me like Snow more than the books ever did, I feel like it's made Dany an even worse character than she already was. Her motivations and reasoning skills fluctuate from scene to scene and this last episode featured blatant disregard for the advice of her hand whom she's still supposed to trust or something maybe? I dont know what their scenes are supposed to be displaying.

Jon Snow bending the knee is like someone from Sinn Fein bowing to the Queen. That's not what your people wanted you to do, bro! Literally the opposite.

Nothing Jon does ever makes sense.

Also that dude just fucked his aunt.
