At this point I would honestly be surprised if this latest video does anything to his rating. To me it doesn't seem any worse than anything he has already said or done during his whole campaign, so is it going to shake the faith of his supporters? I doubt it.

trumps gonna bring up hillary slutshaming the women Bill slept with in the debate. Also whether or not Bill used his position of power to get women to sleep with him. It's going to be an even worse shitshow than it already is.

White people are scared of sexual assault so promoting sexual assault is a big deal. White people vote republican.

Like Grel said, a huge part of it is because it's basically him condoning sexual assault (at best). He's been mostly resilient on racism and general bigotry because his core supporters are all about that (and it's absolutely intentional that he targeted these people in the first place). And most of these people won't give a shit.

But he has been affected by other things, notably his comments on the Khan family. There's a significant portion of his support that is willing to accept Trump's fuckery but only to a certain point. He needs more than his core supporters.

Trump has to be done after the tapes dropped. He was always going to get 35-40 percent of the popular vote out of sheer partisanship. It's disheartening it may have even been that close. And the only way he'd have lost his core support would have been to suddenly promote racial tolerance.

The Cory Booker/Elizabeth Warren campaign is going to be so sad.

Cory Booker and a dozen other dems just helped the GOP kill some healthcare bill a a week or two ago. One that even Ted Cruz voted for. Booker managed to be less progressive than Ted fucking Cruz on an issue.

If they seriously try to force Booker on to us in 2020 then we really don't deserve anything good.

Booker is really the fucking worst and the left wing of the dem party (BERNIE WOULD HAVE WON) needs to make sure that neoliberal Chris Christie loving hack does not get the nomination in 2020 because he will fucking lose again just like Hilary did and for the same reasons--he's a centerist technocrat where the people are clammering for a real leftist populist, or a right wing nationalist. We need to purge Clintonism from the democratic party and the first out the door should be Cory Booker.
