Is there even anything worth getting? Darkest Dungeon is 25%, I'd recommend getting it but it might go cheaper

I like how they removed GTAV from the store then added a "discounted" bundle of GTAV + multiplayer currency for the same price. And then added GTAV back as a stand-alone, non-discounted title once people caught on.

Valkwhatever Chronicles I've heard is OK.

Maybe Xcom?

I'll look out for South Park.

Valkyria Chronicles is good, one of the great PS3 exclusives (lol not anymore). The only shame is that the sequels were only released for PSP. Seriously, what the fuck?

That Naruto game is actually a pretty fun casual fighting game. But maybe not worth it for 17 bucks.
XCOM is pretty neat if you're into turn based tactics games.

The rest is pretty meh.

Invisible Inc is pretty good, like a stealth based X-Com.

I got Darkest Dungeon and it's pretty addicting. It's both entertaining and frustrating when your entire party goes insane before they reach half health

I ended up buying Salt (pirate survival game), Valkrysjshj Chronicles and Banner Saga.

I'm proud of myself that I only bought one survival game. At one point i had ARK and H1Z1 in my cart.

I got Arkham Knight as well, not that it was on sale or anything.

Lots on sale now. If you haven't played Doom or are looking to pick up the witcher expansion pack, those are good options.

Witcher 3 x packs are only like a dollar off and have been that way for a few weeks already. Most of the sales seem like shit because steam sells new games for $79 instead of $59 so their discounts bring it down to regular prices. Greenmangaming sells doom for $59 reg and you can usually add a coupon code for 20% off

I think you'll really like the witcher 3. The combat isn't great but it's pretty tolerable. The world building and writing are some of the best ever.

I've been trying to play the Fallout 4 expansion but they somehow made the game even uglier with the fog and it's hard to walk around in that aesthetic mess.

I bought this war of mine for 4 dollars, I'll probably never play it. And I bought LA NOIR, which is a bad game I really like.

You're right about the Fallout Expansion. It's a shame because I think post apocalypse Maine Resort Island is a pretty cool concept. Synths are just so fucking boring. Why was Obsidian so much better at making interesting factions than Bethesda? bland bland bland. Know what were cool expansion factions? Mormons and Tribals.

So far WItcher 3 is okay. Combat is more tollerable than Witcher 2 which I couldn't play because of combat, but it's still really boring even so far as RPG combat goes. I feel like I'm going to be making a lot of comparisons with it to Dragon Age I. It does a better job making the world feel populated and it makes conversations with random nobodies feel more fluid. So far level design, where it exists, is pretty bad, which is unfortunate because that means in combo with bad combat, exploration just isn't terribly interesting at this point in the game. I'm really digging the character models.

Obsidian just has a much better writing staff than Bioware. Pillars of Eternity actually was one of the more interesting fantasy worlds in recent rpg memory. Fallout New Vegas was clearly rushed and had a ton of launch issues (most of which have been fixed by modders), but was far better, story wise, then either fallout 3 or 4. Every faction in fallout 4 is really boring. I need to force myself through the story though because I know the children of atom are in it at some point and I like them.

I don't think I've ever been invested in any of bethseda's writing. I liked the thieves guild and dark brotherhood in Oblivion.

Also, been playing mass effect 3 a lot and enjoying it. The cover based shooting mechanics still hold up really well. The environments and level design can be boring, and the graphical textures are bad even for their time. That you're quest journal doesn't update when trying to collect stuff for citadel side quests is annoying. Femshep's voice is so powerful though.
