Thanks Boston. The West really needed another good player on another good team. Thanks.

lol. I mean, I guess he was a free agent this off season anyway, wasn't he? I'm not the biggest Rondo believer, but if he buys into what Dallas is doing, damn.

I'm so fucking excited for the Western Conference playoffs. Gonna be cray.

Westbrook might be the only player capable of erasing the goodwill from scoring 40 points with 20 seconds of him just losing his mind.

by the way Knick fans on twitter seem to have convinced themselves that Reggie Jackson was traded to NY. Just so bado won't have a heart attack, that doesn't seem to be the case. It makes no sense.

I actually think Waiters is usually shit.

And yeah I was hyperventilating when everybody was saying Reggie to the Knicks. The worst part is that's a completely believable hypothetical Thunder move.

I hope the first rounder the Thunder is sending is basically top 25 protected. We spent our pick last year on a guy shooting 37 percent in the D-League so might as well use it in a trade if we're going to throw it away like that.

Waiters can't be worse than Lamb though. Maybe a change of scenery will be good for him. Downside is possibly having almost $8 million next season wrapped up in two shit SGs, but surely Lamb is going to be traded now. Ish Smith already took his spot in the rotation.

Thanks for the concern, I did almost die.

I think it's a good trade for all teams to be honest, though Cavs are banking on Shumpert coming back strong. He's obviously a good wing defender they need. Thunder may dig up a reliable scorer and the Knicks basically start rebuilding it sounds like (or just trying something - ANYTHING - different).

Crossing my fingers Waiters tries to fight Westbrook.

I think I'm the last person in the world who kind of likes Waiters. OKC needs another guy, and so they're at least taking a shot at getting one. Although I haven't watched much of Cleveland this season, instead opting to watch car accidents on youtube.

I understand liking the idea of Waiters.

I'm not mad, it's just sort of meh. Few negatives, could end up being useful. Also Thunder are in the luxury tax right now though they could still trade out (and could improve by trading out PLEASE PERK FOR BRANDAN WRIGHT PLEASE).

I do love that we're acquiring a player constantly accused of being selfish yet his assist rating is 150% of Lamb's, who OKC fans insist isn't a relentless selfish chucker.

As of now, best SG options on the Thunder not counting Russ and Durant:

1. Jackson
2. Roberson
3. Morrow
4. Jones
5. Ish Fucking Smith
6. Mitch McGary
7. Getting run over by a car
8. Jeremy Lamb

Waiters has a shot to get in there. He has to be better than Ish Smith and Jones has an amazing ability to accumulate huge negatives in +/-.

Whether he ends up being good or not, he definitely needs a new situation. Cleveland's a mess, but a lot of that's on Lebron. The guys on the Thunder could get Dion playing the right way. I guess that's why I'm cautiously optimistic. And like you pointed out, he's going to be worse than the guys you already have. Long term we'll see how it pans out, but in the mean time I don't think it was a bad trade for the Thunder.

Please don't cut JR Smith, Cleveland. I need to see him in a Cavs uniform, standing next to Lebron, so that I can die happy.

I dunno a lot about basketball but when your two best players shoot a combined 8 for 37 that can't be good. Sorry badfo

You can become a warriors fan anytime you like. Just know they're going to crash and burn in the second round of playoffs

I mean the West is so good any team is capable of losing in the second round. But GS is probably the best team in the league. I'll bet that they don't "crash and burn"--unless that's a description of a future grisly Bogut injury.

It's been a day since we traded for Dion Waiters and Jeremy Lamb is still on this team.

Anybody want to pay a lightly worn, contact averse Jeremy Lamb $3 million next year?

I hope Portland doesn't go after him since we have that in CJ McCollum already.
