Sad as it is, I'm just glad I can quit network tv for good. My last tether has been cut.

I just want someone to start a paid torrenting site with advertisement revenue covering the cost of operating the site and 100% of the purchase cost going towards the show's producers, who set their own price. Use Kickstarter to get new shows off the ground, offer incentives to upload files after you've downloaded them (% discount on a future purchase if ad revenue allows for it). Let people pay for what they want to watch, not what suits think that they want to watch.

I don't even know if it would work. I'm probably naive in thinking that there are enough people who currently pirate who would switch to this service if it were available, but I'd throw some of my meager funds towards whoever does this first.

I watched some trailers for NBCs new fall series. It was hugely depressing.

They don't care anymore. Somehow Parenthood got renewed though.

For how terrible Community's ratings were it was frequently better in the key demographics than whatever else NBC tried to make work. I hope somebody else picks it up. TBS or Comedy Central or FX could pay for 15 more episodes surely.

They ordered a show with shrillbot Katherine Heigl. Ugh.

Good o' NBC, doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. They might have gone under by now if it wasn't for football and talent shows.
