Other stuff: I watched JL: War recently and compared to Flashpoint Paradox it was garbage. Darkseid only ever seems to be like "raarrrr eevviillll," and I feel like he could be used better but I'm not 100% sure (because I don't read comics).

War was my first exposure to the new 52 stuff and It was a bummer. Shame too since DC regularly knocks the animated movies out of the park.

Well...

Jason Todd was the second Robin. Everybody loved the first Robin, Grayson, because he was a fun loving guy despite his tragedies and what not. Jason was sort of the opposite, he was the worst parts of every angsty teen in existence: reckless, self absorbed and thought he was too good for Batman. Fans hated him. And DC knew it.

So they asked for a poll: Should we keep Jason or Kill him off?

Fans voted to kill him off. Thus spawning the only good thing to ever come from Jason Todd: the 'A Death in the Family' story.

And that's why he's the worst Robin.

Red Hood sucks because instead of leaving a shitty character dead, they bring him back, make him nearly as good as Batman, give him guns but let him be the same shitty self absobed, angsty, reckless, emo character he was.

I watched Batman vs Robin and I was excited because the Court of Owls guys have groovy costumes but this same thing ruined it for me.

Pretty sure over these two movies Damien has beaten Deathstroke, Nightwing, the main Owls assassin called Talon, and went toe-to-toe with Batman. Guys he's 10 and has no superpowers, lets make a distinction between talented and ridiculous.

I like that his cape has a hood tho.
