Stuff to watch

Post by pano »

Pewps stopped playing Wow, and without someone abusing me non-stop I kind of dropped off too, so I need something to do with my time.

I am THIS VERY SECOND preparing myself to watch Beware the Batman, which I am expecting to be pretty shitty, but I don't know what else to watch. Korra started again last week so I fapped to her muscles and that was nice for both of us. Season 2 of Arrow starts soon so Grel and I will be able to talk about how the girls are pretty, the dudes are dull, and we get all the references.

Basically, is anyone watching anything good? The Americans doesn't start until Jan, Vikings was kinda fun but I guess is ages away too. What are you buttcakes watching?!

PS - I don't want any Bachelorette recommendations.

I'm assuming you've already watched it, because apparently I was way late to the party on this one, but if you haven't, Adventure Time. I can't get over how deep it can be despite its 'kid show' status. I guess it's kinda like Futurama, except with the adult humour more disguised and Robert DiMaggio being slightly less obnoxious. Also, five seasons out at the moment, so plenty to catch up on.

This particular lineup of new shows in Murica seems worse than usual.

Masters of Sex has promise. The pilot is on YouTube. Nothing else out yet: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IxoEZBjRacU

I've heard good things about Orphan Black but haven't watched yet. The first season is over.

Orphan Black is fun. Breaking Bad's final season has been bonkers good. I've been watching Shameless, the American version.

I know nothing about Orphan Black.

edit, I have been watching The Newsroom and Boardwalk Empire. Newsroom is still pretty sappy but it's not bad.

Emmy is still Emmy and still getting naked and doing a spicy sex scene twice a season. Warrants the watch. Orphan Black is a really fun show to binge watch. The plot is crazy, fun, fast moving, and the show's entertaining.

His mouth is a catbutt. Should've been Nathan Fillion (rofl). I like computergirl. I guess I like the show? I'll give it a generous number of epis.

Beware the Batman is just okay. I don't know why I started watching the Newsroom again, and I don't know why I'll keep watching it. I have Futurama to catch up on and it's bittersweet.

I've been really enjoying the second season of Newsroom. I think Don is my favourite character, after being bottom tier for me in the first season. Maybe I never really bought Maggie and Don? Or maybe he just gets better lines this season. Olivia Munn is good too. The nude photos were breaking the fourth wall but I was all shiiiiiit and yeah.

Will watch Parks and Rec soon.

I watched The Crazy Ones because I'm never going to not watch Robin Williams because he is awesome and incredible and all that and it's not really my cup of tea and it's kind of awkward because everybody is trying to match Williams' crazy and I don't like Buffy and I don't like the premise but it absolutely slaughtered everything in its path as far as ratings go so it will probably be around a while and at least it's not as bad as BBT and all those other terrible shows and I still like Robin Williams and I feel like I have to watch every episode but maybe it will get better though it probably won't but hey Robin Williams also the show is kind of bad overall and I can't recommend it.

That Parenthood has managed to survive so long makes me happy and also suspicious that I might already be dead.

It's actually NBC that's dead. But that's good for Parenthood-Believers. Like spoiled grandchildren, we benefit from that old Peacock's death.

I really hate the dude on Shield. He's completely pointless. The girl isn't great either but at least she's useful plotwise.

Replace the dude with a pet monkey.

The dude is there for HANDSOME RELATABLE WHITE MALE reasons, I assume. I like the girl.

The show tries too hard, I think. Comes off just kind of silly.

Monkey would take things up a notch.
