But then why spend an entire season over a three-day period for a wedding that ends up being completely worthless? Why not just have Barney and Robin get married last season and have this season basically be everything in the finale? Why use an ending you shot SEVEN FUCKING YEARS AGO? Just to be clever? Also fuck you. Robin and Ted are not right for each other. We know this. It's basically what the show has been about. It's one thing that made it different, subverting the stupid will they or won't they trope that is on every TV show ever. But noooooooooooooooooooooooooo. You aren't that clever. It really is just a terrible will they or won't they except it lasts nine fucking season and five of them are completely pointless. God damn. Kill the mother off but at least use her first. Fuck you.

I watched the finale after having not watched any episode since like the 5th season. I didn't miss much, was obvious. Seemed odd that the main focus of the last episode was mostly on Barney. Did the show, as i feared, become all about Barney? A cartoon character best handled in small doses?

Just because you had the idea years ago doesn't make it good. J.K. Rowling said she wrote her epilogue a long time ago, around the first book or something, or had the idea for it. And it was terrible. Stop being terrible.

If your idea changes over the course of the run, feel free to change the destination! Don't shove an ending that no longer fits down everyone's throat just because you want to feel cool and say 'this was our idea from the start'. Nobody cares whether you came up with it back in '95 or if you had the idea that morning. You get no extra points for planning, if the plan is bad.

If anything coming up with it that early just means you have less of an excuse for it to be bad.

Barney's character arc the last few years was basically about him changing and becoming a better person or whatever. I don't mind that they went back on that because at least his reasoning was sound. It was just terrible how it was presented. You didn't miss anything though.

Ted became the worst because they just retread his storyline over and over. Marshall's role got smaller as Segel got busier. And so much filler. Season after season of filler.

Has anybody been watching Shield? I keep seeing people say things got better but it's from people that think things like Almost Human are good. I imagine it's poopy. I saw some spoiler stuff but who cares about being spoiled with that show.

I'm watching. It improved after Captain Doody 2, which would be worth watching after about epi 15 or 16 or summat. #teambucky

Summer: a TV show on the CW, where shows go when they don't have enough money for YouTube.
Seth: He was in a movie with Kristen Stewart like 10 years ago.
Marissa: Pretty sure she actually died in that car crash.
Taylor: She was on that submarine show that was terrible.
Olivia Wilde: All that stuff.

This does not bode well for Blake Lively.

Yeah that rape episode was bad. I'm pretty sure it was a double rape episode too as I think one of the girls had flashbacks to being raped. If you're not 100 percent sure you are addressing the topic properly, just don't do it. Odds are you're probably just turning an underdeveloped character into a trope. What a terrible show.

I'm still pulling for you Taylor. Put her in Star Wars. Make her an Imperial officer. Just hire me already Disney.

Orphan Black is good binge watch. Haven't watched S2 yet either.

Orphan Black's captain squarejaw was a recurring (and forgettable) DA on Arrow.

The Daario replacement is in Orphan Black in season 2. I hope he never shaves the beard.

Creepy Scientist dude played pretty much the same character on an episode of TNG way back in the day.
